What is DBT Fertilizer?
DBT Fertilizer is a government scheme to provide subsidies to fertilizer companies on the sale of fertilizers. Sometimes, the Government pays 100% subsidies on fertilizer. Through the DBT Fertilizer app, the department tracks fertilizers’ actual sales to farmers and buyers. The Government releases subsidies to fertilizer companies based on the sale of fertilizer to farmers.
The importance of DBT App System

- Overcharging by retailers has been reduced as each sale of fertilizer is supported by a receipt on which the MRP is paid by the farmer, the subsidy given by the government, and the quantity received by the farmer will be printed.
DBT Fertilizer Application
The Department of Fertilizer developed the DBT Fertilizer app system to sell fertilizer. The DBT Fertilizer application helps record fertilizer movement from different stack holders, like fertilizer companies, to dealers, retailers, and the final beneficiary. Retailers have to sell fertilizer to farmers through the DBT application. Farmers have to provide their Aadhar number and mobile number to the retailer to purchase fertilizer. The retailer will verify the farmer’s identity in the DBT Fertilizer application by asking for fingerprint authentication or OTP.
The DBT Fertilizer application has many variants for different platforms, like the Windows, Android, and PoS device versions. The stack holder for fertilizer movement can use any or all versions of the DBT app on different platforms.
DBT Fertilizer 3.2.1 Application Download
The department launched an upgraded version of the DBT in Fertilizer 3.2 app at the beginning of May 2023, the DBT app 3.2.1. The latest DBT app eliminates the security risk and improves the user experience. The DBT app helps with real-time fertilizer stock insights like movement, stock, sale, and beneficiary of fertilizer.
DBT in Fertilizer 3.2.1 Mobile App
The previous version of the DBT app had two versions, one for Android version 12 and above and one for Android version 11 and below. The Department released the latest DBT app 3.2.1 compatible with all Android versions. So, there is no need to check your Android version before installation. DBT app 3.2.1 is the only app that will be supported on all Android mobile devices.
